Top CNN producer Federico Quadrani is reportedly out at the network following the discovery of an inappropriate relationship with a subordinate.
The subordinate, a mid-level female executive, was also fired.
Quadrani served as Jake Tapper's executive producer for 10 years and worked for MSNBC before, where he was considered a 'golden boy.'
The producer, who is in his late 50s, joined the network in 2013, relocating from NYC to the nation's capital. During his time at NBC, he'd worked on 'The Today Show' under ousted CNN executive Jeff Zucker.

Tapper was presented with indisputable evidence of the affair, which he marched to HR, leading to the firing of both parties
Zucker was fired from his top spot at CNN last year for a relationship with executive Allison Gollust.
The New York Post also reported that Quadrani was dismissed last week after news came to light he had been hooking up with a staffer. Quadrani is married to Elena Quadrani, and the couple live in Bethesda, Maryland.
It's unclear how much Quadrani was paid for his longtime role at the network, but his home, purchased in 2017, is currently valued at $1.26million.
The Post reported that Quadrani was already under investigation by the network's human resources department because of rumors of an 'inappropriate relationship with a senior producer.
'There were some complaints. No one had proof, and these things are hard to prove,' a source told the tabloid.
'Jake was aware of the investigation,' said the source.
However, as Quadrani was heading for an all-clear from HR, Tapper was presented with evidence of an affair that he 'couldn't ignore.'
Straight-laced Tapper has no tolerance for unprincipled sexual behavior from staffers working on his show, which led him to bring the evidence straight to HR and resulted in the termination of both employees.
The firings occur in the one-year wake of Jeff Zucker's ousting for a relationship with top CNN executive Allison Gollust
CNN insiders say they are surprised anyone would engage in a workplace affair after Zucker and Gollust were so publicly exposed

When approached, CNN officially 'declined to comment on matters involving personnel.'
But sources inside the network say they are shocked that Quadrani and the female executive would engage in such an affair just one year after Zucker and Gollust left the company over a similar pattern of behavior.
The post reported that despite both halves of the workplace romance being absent from CNN's Washington bureau last week, 'they're consenting adults and no one's particularly feeling like this is some big scandal.'
Quadrani's social media accounts still say he is the executive producer of The Lead with Jake Tapper, but his employee page appears to have been deleted from the network's site.
